My name is Charlotte and I am the Harrogate Furniture Painter
I have always had a passion for colour, texture, design. Anything that is creative sparks an excitement in me. Based in Harrogate and surrounding areas of Yorkshire I paint and revitalise furniture with genuine fervour and experience. I also repaint and reinvigorate your kitchen, adding colour and saving you money as well as a tiny bit of the planet!

Art became my way of expression and I studied Fine Art at Staffordshire University with my degree show based on abstract landscape after a wonderful experience on a field trip in Cornwall in my final year. I then worked across roles with an administrative background as well as periods spent in different employment sectors like banking, catering, marketing, sales, fashion design, auction houses, motor industry. This broad experience stood me in good stead, which I am truly grateful for.

In May 2014, I found myself at a crossroads in life, I had already been painting furniture since 2008 at weekends, after work, in any spare time I had. Initially selling on various sites, then for friends, so when I come to this point it seemed a natural step to go professional. This move was the best thing I have ever done, I was now able to enjoy my work and my passion, I am very lucky to be able to combine the two.

My business has grown, gaining many repeat clients, recommendations and friends along the way, it has been an exciting professional and personal journey. In 2018 I had the honour of being invited to join The Guild of Master Craftsmen in recognition of my experience and work.
