Where it all began
Ive always had a passion for colour, texture, design, basically anything creative sparks an excitement in me.
Art became my way of expression and I went onto study Fine Art at Staffordshire University and created my degree show based on abstract landscape after a wonderful experience on a field trip in Cornwall in my final year. I then went on to do various jobs, mostly with an administrative background but there were also periods spend in different employment sectors like banking, catering, marketing, sales, fashion design, auction houses, motor industry so all the experience gained over these past years has stood me in good stead for where I am now and for which I am truly grateful for. I had the honour of being invited to join The Guild of Master Craftsmen in 2018.
So fast forward a couple of decades and in May 2014 I found myself at a crossroads in life, Id already been painting furniture prior to this point for 6 years, on the weekends, after work, basically in any spare time I had, first selling on various sites, then for friends so when I come to this point it seemed a natural step to take things further and go self employed. And it was the best thing Id ever done, years on the business has grown, gaining many repeat clients, recommendations and friends along the way, Ive grown too, in many ways and long may it continue.
